Any civil engineering structures that directly transfer loads to the ground surface, e.g., road, factory’s ground slab, parking, experience significant settlement. This settlement is sometimes not uniformed, resulting in differential settlement. Presently, polyurethane foam, which has a very large volumetric expansion ratio, is introduced by injecting underneath the structure resting on the ground surface. In the present study, it is attempted to study on the geotechnical engineering properties of polyurethane foam.

1.5mm thick HDPE GMB manufactured to meet and exceed GRI GM 13 standard was successfully installed as a static floating cover for biogas application in an ethanol production facility in Thailand.
Introduction of new PE resin formulation that improves the flexibility and stress crack resistance of HDPE GMB is deemed to be instrumental in the selection of HDPE GMB as a material of choice for static floating cover in ABR application.
